Welcome to MACOS Website
We cordially invite you to participate in International Symposium on Main Group Chemistry Directed towards Organic Synthesis (MACOS) to be held in Kyoto on August 25, 2018. MACOS is a satellite symposium for ISOCS-28.
The aim of MACOS is to cover all the aspects of main group element chemistry for organic synthesis (synthetic, mechanistic, structural, and theoretical) and to promote exchange of ideas and collaborations among participants. We strongly encourage younger scientists to attend the meeting in order to get in touch and see, first-hand, the state of the art in the field. The symposium program will feature special lectures, short oral communications, and poster session. Young and emerging investigators will share their results with you.
The venue for the symposium will be Science Seminar House, Kyoto University, which is located close to the center of Kyoto city and is convenient to feel Japanese culture, to cultivate our friendships, and to enjoy MACOS chemistry.
We do hope that you will join us to make MACOS a fruitful and memorable event. We look forward to seeing you in Kyoto!
