Welcome to ISCC-10 Website
We cordially invite you to participate in the memorial 10th International Symposium on Carbanion Chemistry (ISCC-10) to be held in Kyoto, on September 23(Mon)-26(Thr), 2013.
The symposium will be held in Japan for the second time, and follows the successful series of ISCC symposia in Florence (2010), Madison (2007), Alicante (2004), Marburg (2001), Sendai (1998), Fort Collins (1995), Gallipoli (1992), Ottawa (1989), and Durham (1984).
The aim of ISCC is to cover all the aspects of carbanion chemistry (synthetic, mechanistic, structural, and theoretical) and to promote exchange of ideas and collaborations among participants. We strongly encourage younger scientists to attend the meeting in order to get in touch and see, first hand, the state of the art in the field. To this end, a reduced registration fee is available for young participants.
The symposium program will feature special lectures, plenary lectures, invited lectures, short communications, poster sessions, and exhibitions. Established leaders in the field, young and emerging investigators, and leading scientists from industry will share their results with you.
The venue for the symposium will be Kambaikan, Doshisha University, which is close to the center of Kyoto city and is convenient to feel Japanese culture, to cultivate our friendships, and to enjoy carbanion chemistry.
We do hope that you will join us to continue the scientific excellence that has been the common feature of the previous symposia and make ISCC-10 a memorable event.
We look forward to seeing you in Kyoto in 2013!
