1. Mix 1 ml of 0.02% Triton X-100 and 50 ul of sodium hypochlorite solution containing 5-6% effective chloride.
2. Add seeds (< 20 mg = 1000 seeds) into the solution. Shake vigorously.
3. Store for 10-15 min at room temperature with occasional shaking.
4. Discard solution leaving the seeds in the tube.
5. Add to the seeds 1 ml of sterile water. Shake vigorously. Discard solution leaving the seeds in the tube.
6. Repeat step 5 for at least 3 times.
7. Germinate seeds on a sterile medium.
