Welcome
Welcome to the get-together reception hosted by LOC of Sol-Gel 2015 and ISGS, supported by our sponsors.
Prior to enthusiastic discussion on sol-gel science and technology, enjoy pieces of live music performed by four virtuosos. Seiji Nakanishi, a piano player, is an undergraduate student who studies applied chemistry, and Kanji Nakanishi, a violin player, is a high school student. Now you may recognize that our Chair has brought up such brilliant boys as the father. Michel Aegerter, another piano player, is Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Sol-Gel Science and Technology, which I believe is his side job. Hiromitsu Kouzka, a cello player, is also working on sol-gel, but in his case, both may be his side jobs.
Although they will play very seriously, giving honor to the composers as well as the scientists gathering here, a happening or "gelation" may occur in their performance. We hope you are generous enough to enjoy even such unexpected incidents, sharing a relaxing evening in Kyoto.
